* Sorry for the delay, folks!
Almost the end of November?! Surely, you jest! It’s hard to believe we’ll soon be entering the final month of this 4 year, securing ourselves to the foundation we’ve diligently crafted. Security has been such a gorgeous theme this year and the lessons we’ve encountered will be revisited and re-learned for the next eight years. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves…
This week…BOOM!...a ton of energy enters our plane to propel us forward on the path on which we've set forth, urging us to tether ourselves to our new reality with trust and confidence. On Monday, the influence of Mars increases our already empowered energy. We’re encouraged to assess what’s been accomplished, make changes as needed and dig our heels in a bit further.
On Thursday, not only do we come together under the harvest energy of giving & receiving, but a cornucopia of planetary energy comes along with the Turkey on the table. The Solar Eclipse offers an opportunity to lift any hesitation we’ve felt with our recent energy adjustment to our new reality. It will also help become clear what continues to hold us back. The new moon seals our fate to connecting with what’s ahead and how to get there.
In addition to Thursday’s new moon, Mercury pauses its rotation before turning retrograde on Friday. A Mercury Retrograde is a time of revision. We reflect, we pause, we take note of what’s behind us, what’s present and what’s ahead. Typically, a Mercury Retrograde triggers a faulty lapse in communication (in relationships, with ourselves) and technology (all our digital devices break down, emails never arrive, etc.). It’s not a time to make major decisions, because we’re orienting ourselves to new behaviors, modes of communication, ways of being and thinking. Like the planet, we feel like we’re moving backwards. This Mercury Retrograde helps us strengthen our grip on the new space in which we’ve arrived. Expect shakiness, of course, but expect it to shake away the unnecessary, like an apple tree in autumn shaking off the fruit that’s ripe and the leaves that have dried. We open ourselves to what’s new and possible in 2012, until Mercury turns direct on December 13th.
Keep yourselves receptive. A retrograde is the best time to simply be in the moment, and let go of the desire to control. Connect with yourself. Don’t take things too seriously. Go with the flow.
Wishing you a joyous, energetic holiday. Love & light to all. xo sara
